Pet Contract
This is a contractual sales agreement for the ownership of a pet quality Golden Retriever. The parties to this agreement are Judith Taylor (Seller) and (purchaser). 1. Ownership shall be transferred to the purchaser upon the receipt of the total selling price; which is due when the purchaser takes possession of the dog, unless alternative arrangements have been made. 2. The purchaser agrees to proved general and veterinary care for the dog. Judith Taylor will replace the dog with a puppy should the dog have any genetically transmitted disease that prevents it from being a sound, healthy pet. This replacement shall occur from the first litter bred or any other litter mutually agreed upon by the parties to this contract, following diagnosis by a licensed veterinarian. Please note the owners are responsible for all costs relating to the return of the dog. 3. The purchaser agrees that the animal will be kept and maintained in the home of the purchaser with proper feeding, care, shelter and a fenced yard. The purchaser further agrees to attend one series of obedience classes if Judith Taylor deems it necessary. 4. The purchaser agrees to adhere to the health guidelines supplied at the time of purchase. If these guidelines are not followed this contract becomes null and void. 5. THIS DOG WILL NOT BE USED FOR BREEDING PURPOSES WITHOUT THE APPROVAL AND CONSENT OF JUDITH TAYLOR! 6. The seller guarantees that this animal is in good health, although change in environment may cause bowel upsets. A health record will be supplied at the time the buyer takes possession of the animal. The purchaser has the OPTION of taking the puppy to a veterinarian within 4 days of taking possession (but not before 48 hrs. because of the free health insurances supplied at time of purchase). PLEASE NOTE: SKYLON KENNELS WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EXPENSES, MEDICAL OR OTHERWISE. 7. If for any reason the purchaser can no longer keep this Golden Retriever, the dog (puppy) will be returned to Judith Taylor and she will sell the puppy and give the purchaser the difference between the sale price and board. 8. This agreement is made and signed by both parties to assure the well-being and protection of this animal and to help assure the continued soundness and quality of the Golden Retriever breed. No part of this contract is transferrable. 9. PLEASE NOTE: IF TLC IS NOT FED FOR DOGS SOLD IN NORTH AMERICA FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS, THIS CONTRACT IS NULL & VOID! 10. PLEASE NOTE: IF A BITCH IS SPAYED BEFORE THE AGE OF TWENTY-FOUR MONTHS, OR A MALE IS NEUTERED WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF JUDITH TAYLOR, THIS CONTRACT IS NULL AND VOID!
SHOW/BREEDING CONTRACTS
CONTRACT FOR SHOW PUPPY WITH A FULL SHOW/BREEDING GUARANTEE
This is a contractual agreement for the ownership of a show quality Golden Retriever. The parties to this are Judith Taylor and purchaser. 1. Ownership shall be transferred to the purchaser upon the receipt of the total shipment costs. 2. The purchaser agrees to provide general and veterinary care for the dog. Judith Taylor will replace the dog with a puppy, should the dog have any genetically transmitted disease that prohibits this dog from being used for breeding purposes (eg.: hi displasia, etc.). This replacement shall occur from the first litter bred or any other litter mutually agreed upon by the parties on this contract, following diagnosis by a licensed veterinarian with a full written report. If the owner prefers to keep the dog, Judith Taylor will give a refund of $1000.00. 3. The purchaser agrees that the animal will be kept and maintained in the home of the purchaser with proper feeding, care, shelter and a fenced in yard. The purchaser further agrees to attend one series of obedience classes if Judith deems it necessary and to educate themselves in the characteristics of the breed in order to fully understand the habits, history and advantages of Golden Retriever ownership. 4. The purchaser agrees to adhere to the health guidelines supplied at the time of purchase. This includes feeding TLC unless Judith Taylor agrees with the owner for a change. If these guidelines are not followed, this contract becomes null and void. 5. This Golden Retriever will not be used for breeding purposes without first obtaining a title recognized by the C.K.C. or the A.K.C., clearances for hips, eyes, elbows, & heart. 6. The seller guarantees that this animal is in good health. A medical history will be supplied at the tme the buyer takes possession. The purchaser has the option of taking this animal to a licensed veterinarian within 4 days; but not before 48 hours. If the puppy's health is found to be unsatisfactory with the 4 days, it may be returned to Judith Taylor and a full refund. PLEASE NOTE THAT SKYLON KENNELS WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EXPENSES, MEDICAL OR OTHERWISE! 7. If for any reason the purchaser can no longer keep the puppy, the puppy (dog) will be returned to Judith Taylor and she will sell the dog and give the original purchaser the difference between the sale price and board. 8.
